This committee is responsible for reviewing new residency programme applications from institutions or practices (full time programmes) or individuals’ residency applications (part-time or alternate programmes). The Education Committee and (and Equine Education Committee) is also responsible for appraising residents annual reports, monitoring programmes and advising residents on their progress and mentoring residents in collaboration with resident supervisors. The committee comprises up to five members and is appointed by the executive committee, with members rotating off after serving a term, advised by the EVDC executive committee. This committee reports to the Board on the progress of all residents in training and new programme applications.
