The Board and Committees

The Board of EVDC (also known as the Executive Committee) consists of college members, who are nominated and voted into official roles as listed below. The Board’s role is to manage the day-to-day activities of EVDC, uphold and monitor standards, develop strategies to improve the functioning of the College and implement and monitor policies, procedures and budgets. Together with the Committees, the Board ensures the College runs efficiently and professionally, also recognising and implementing the policies and procedures laid down by the European Board of Veterinary Specialisation (EBVS). The Board and committees strive to uphold standards whilst balancing the interests of its members, other members of the profession and the animal owning public, upholding the integrity and reputation of EVDC and planning future development.
