Description

Philippe Hennet graduated from Toulouse Veterinary School (France) in 1988. After a junior internship in veterinary surgery, he worked in a small animal veterinary practice and then undertook a residency programme in veterinary dentistry and oral surgery at the Veterinary Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (USA) and became diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College in 1993 and subsequently a diplomate of the European Veterinary Dental College in 1998.

 

He has been a part-time lecturer and clinical assistant in veterinary dentistry and oral surgery at the Veterinary School of Lyon and of Paris from 1993 to 2005. He was one of the founder and president of the GEROS (French dental study group), of the European Veterinary Dental Society (EVDS) and of the European Veterinary Dental College (EVDC).

 

Philippe is an internationally-recognized lecturer and has authored numerous papers and book chapters in French and English. He is the residency director of a program which lead to the formation of four other EVDC diplomates and is currently training his fifth resident. He is currently the chief of dentistry and oromaxillofacial surgery at ADVETIA Veterinary Referral Hospital (France).
