Eva Sarkiala

Eva graduated in 1984 from the Veterinary School of the University of Helsinki. She worked 7 years as a clinician at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Helsinki. In 1992 She moved to USA and started a veterinary dental residency at the University of Pennsylvania. In 1994 she finished her PhD work for the University of Helsinki. In 1996 she got a veterinary license in USA and became a Diplomate of the AVDC in 1999. She worked for 10 years in Boulder, Colorado in a private practice as a veterinary dentist. In 2007 she became a Diplomate of the EVDC. In 2009 she moved back to Finland and since then has worked both in private veterinary practice and part time at the University of Helsinki. In 2017 she became an adjunct professor of veterinary dentistry at the University of Helsinki.
