Dea Bonello

Dea Bonello, Med Vet, PhD, Spec Rad Vet, Dipl EVDC, Torino

She graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Turin, in 1989.
At the same Faculty, she obtained the Diploma of Specialist in Veterinary Radiology in 1997 and the title of Research Doctor in Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2000.
She worked as researcher at the Department of Animal Pathology of the University of Tu-rin, from 2001 to 2003.
In 1996 and 1998 she went for an internship period at the Dentistry Department of the University of California, Davis, with Prof. Frank Verstraete.
In 1998 she obtained the Diploma of the European College of Veterinary Dentistry.

From 1998 she has also been working in private practice as a veterinary dentist, as a consultant for small and large animals.
Since 2011 works as a consultant for CVT Veterinary Hospital in Turin.
CVT with time established a partnership with more then 200 veterinary practices in Italy and create a network named CViT group for which dr. Bonello is the referral dentist.

In 2016 she open her own practice in Turin, the first Veterinary Dental Practice in Italy, where she employs two vets.

She has been President of EVDC (European Veterinary Dental College) and President of SCIVAC (Italian Society of Small Animal Veterinarians)

Dr. Dea Bonello has been speaker in several meetings in Italy and abroad, and is author of publications on veterinary and comparative odontostomatology.
